One playoff spot is sealed, leaving only three spots left up for grabs.
TPD clinched the first playoff spot of 2019 with a huge victory over LFB last week, scoring the most points in the league while doing so. Considering the injuries this team has dealt with this year it is impressive what they have accomplished. This is their 7th playoff appearance in 8 years. They also officially won the East division for the 5th time in 8 years. The unquestioned top dog of the MFFL awaits their playoff match-up and looks to get over the sting of losing a few key contributors over the last few weeks.
The West will likely have three playoff participants this year. Currently at the top is Stros. They had a down game last week, but still have the feel of a team no one wants to play in the playoffs. A single win for any of the top teams in the west over the last two weeks secures their place in the big dance. Stros will look to cement that this week against an under manned Tavon squad.
Loco won their 4th straight game last week. They have needed every win considering how competitive the playoff push is. They need Zeke to start playing better and consistency from their WRs would go a long way as well. If Engram doesn't get healthy then TE, #2RB, and FLEX could be a hinderance down the stretch. Still, this team is loaded with fire power, and if they get hot at the right team they could win it all.
UB continues to play well and secured a massive victory over Stros last week to keep their playoff chances alive and healthy. They have been a top 4 team all year will likely finish as such with an eventual playoff birth. The story all year has been their depth, which has allowed them great flexibility each week. Having Michael Thomas helps too.
TDs and LFB are in dire straights. LFB more so after losing to TPD last week. Both will need to win out in order to have a chance and both need a Western division team to go (0-2) to close out the season. It doesn't look good but they have to take it one week at a time and see what happens.

Match-Up Build-Up Week 12
With the playoffs nearing the attention turns to the teams still fighting for a chance at the playoffs.
-The Perpetual Dynasty (9-2)- TPD holds a three game lead in the east division. Most signs point to them having already wrapped up the East division, but a win this week against La Flama would finalize it and book their ticket to the 2019 playoffs. It would make an astonishing seventh playoff appearance in eight years. Winning the east would give them their fifth east division championships in eight years. Unfortunately for TPD the team has been struggling as of late. They would have to use the early playoff ticket as a means to get the roster ready for the playoffs. Injuries have sapped this team of its full potential all year long, but luckily for them their schedule has been extremely easy.
-Imposing Monstrosity (8-3)- They have been the most dominating team in the league as of late, winning four straight and scoring the most points in the league this season. Christian McCaffrey...that's all we'll say. They are loaded and ready to make some serious noise in their franchise's best season ever. They have to keep playing hard though as two of their last three games are against UB and Loco, the two teams that are only one game behind them in the West.
-El Pollo Loco (7-4)- Loco has won three straight after previously losing three straight. It has been a season of runs for this team, which is slightly different than their typical themes. Similarly to TPD this team needs to figure some things out. They have only scored over 130 points one time in their last six games. Working in their favor is the fact that they play Baker and McCoy the next two weeks. Wins in both of those contests would secure a playoff spot.
-Unstopa-Bo (7-4)- UB is also in good position but face a more difficult schedule than Loco down the stretch. They have to play Stros and LFB in two of the final three. If they lose those games it will be hard to make the playoffs.
-La Flama Blanca (6-5)- This team is getting hot at the right time. They have scored over 170 in back to back games, fighting for a playoff spot. Nobody wants to play this team right now. Of all the teams in contention for the playoffs they may have the most difficult schedule. They close with TPD, TDs, UB. If they make the playoffs it will be truly earned on the field. This week is difficult due to a few byes, but they still have the talent to win. Their match-up with TDs next week will likely be a playoff eliminator.
-GrabbingThemTDs (6-5)- TDs has lost two in a row at the worst possible time. Last week was especially brutal due to the fact that they lost by five points when their opponent TPD only scored 87 points. The loss has put them in dire straights. They close with McCoy, LFB, Morgans. There is still a chance to make the playoffs but they may have to win out or get some serious help along the way.

Match-Up Build-Up Week 11
The Sunday slate is rich with flavorful matchups. In the battle for the East division, TPD squares off against TDs. TPD lost last week but proved once again their worth as a manager with one of the best player starts of all time. Darius Slayton scored 35 for them when no one else would have even rostered him let alone play him. They are sharpening their skills in hopes for a deep playoff run. TDs lost last week as well but once again played great. They have three straight games in which they have scored over 140 points. They beat TPD earlier in the year, one of TPD's only two losses. Bragging rights, revenge, and East hierarchy are on the line in this week's game of the week. A win for TPD gives them a 3 game lead in the East with only three regular season games remaining after this week. Loco and Bo are jockeying for position in the West in another huge match-up this week. Loco won a must win last week but only scored 108 while doing so. Getting Mahomes back was everything Loco could have dreamed as he threw for well over 400 yards and three TDs. Hurting them is the uncertain injury to Engram and the dip in production from their stud WRs. They are fighting every week and are deep in the grind of the MFFL. UB is rolling after a mid season lull. They are playing their best ball of the season but like Loco have struggled to maintain consistency throughout the whole season. This coin flip will decide the fates of many. Flama and McCoy are barely hanging on. McCoy won last week while scoring 84 points. The victory was made possible due to Tavon's lack of managing and starting of players on bye. If not for Tavon's mistake McCoy's season would have already been sealed. Still, a glimmer of hope remains. Flama is in a tough spot, being the 6th ranked team with only four weeks to go in the regular season. They need a victory with defeats in front of them. They have been unpredictable all season long.

Match-Up Build-Up Week 10 (Rivalry Week #2)
A massive rivalry week docket is headlined by 1v2 and 3v4 match-ups. It's make or break for everyone in the MFFL.
1. The Perpetual Dynasty (8-1) vs Imposing Monstrosity (6-3)
The two best and most consistent teams so far this season lock horns in rivalry week to settle the score.
TPD continues to pile up wins. Last week they survived even while scoring well below the rest of the winning teams. Their very soft schedule this season has helped their current streak and has been a massive reverse in fortune compared to season's past. Still, they are 3rd in total points and have been the most consistent team all season. This week will be a tall task however, with Watson, Hopkins, and Fournette all on bye. Three teams behind them in the standings are only two games back in the rankings, meaning a loss would only put them a game up on the competition, even with their unbelievable record. Things can get crazy real quick in the MFFL and TPD will look to manage the hell out of their roster this week and secure a surprise victory. Helping them is the fact that their gameday managing this season has remained strong just like in season's past.
Stros is dominating people. Wilson, Evans, Hill, McCaffrey are juggernauts right now. It is tough to find a weakness on this roster. A win this week could signal their claim to be considered the top dog in the league currently. It is by far their best season in franchise history, and they are unquestioned title contenders.
Even with TPD doing TPD things, Stros rolls into this match-up as pretty large favorites. TPD will have to pull a rabbit out of a hat or hope Stros finally slows down. Either way this is a huge game in the MFFL and these top two teams will look to put on a show.
2. GrabbingThemTDs (6-3) vs Unstopa-Bo (6-3)
TDs changed their name in the offseason to signal a new found direction of their franchise. They will no longer request a glimpse, instead they reach for the full monty. They have remained true to their word and put together perhaps the best season in franchise history. They are heating up at the right moment, scoring over 140 in two consecutive games. They must of had a good draft because they have only made 5 moves all season, the lowest mark in the league. They are chasing TPD in the East, but are well ahead of the other east combatants. Squaring off against Bo, in unquestionably the most fierce and smack talk driven rivalry, they will look to put together a strong performance and further cement their claim to a playoff spot.
UB is heating up as well but lost a close game last week to fall slightly in the rankings. They have relied on whole team efforts all season long and have yet to show a dip in production. This team always comes to play when they see TDs in front of them. Another Chipotle bowl could be in order for this week, double meat of course.
To have any chance at the playoffs, it looks like The Morgans, Tavon, and McCoy all have to win this week. One team will likely be eliminated as McCoy plays Tavon. Loco and LFB are in better position than all three of those teams but still need crucial victories to keep pace with the top 4. Things will get settled on Sunday and as stated earlier, it is make or break time.
