RIVALRY WEEK 6

GAME OF THE WEEK

Tesus Crusades VS. Gothams Reckoning
The unquestioned game of the week is sure to be meaningful. These two managers know each other well. Tesus helped jump start Gotham's fantasy career, while Gotham acted as a mentor for team decisions when Tesus was the Advantageous Hyenas. This fantasy relationship has grown in to a rivalry, and now both managers stand at top their respected divisions. This week is crucial for moral on both sides. While Gotham understands it will be hard to remain unbeaten all year, he certainly doesn't want his rival to bring the first defeat. Tesus is trying to rebound after a tie 2 weeks ago and loss to PD last week. This game is full of questions. Will Tesus continue the trend of teams not coming to play against Gotham, Will Gotham find a way to get points out of his #2 RB, Will Tesus rebound after losing Tony G and Marques C? This matchup is dynamic and fierce. It is certainly well deserving of the top spot on Rivalry Week's game of the week.

2. Perpetual Dynasty VS. El Pollo Loco
Two teams with key bye week losses battle it out. Marshall is out for PD and cam is out for Loco. This rivalry has grown to big heights in a quick amount of time. While they met only a mere 7 months ago, both managers have shown the other that they are for real. Loco has been active, competitive, and tradative (trading), all season long, and he has proven that he was an excellent addition to the fantasy league. PD has continued his historic tradition by doing the things that have taken him to the top in the past. These two managers are trying to climb the ranks in their separate divisions, but for this week the focus is squarely on each other. Just yesterday, a scene occurred at Cosi when Loco seemed to refuse to take the clean dishes to the front of the restaurant. A quick reminder that PD was his commissioner put Loco into place, and the dishes were put where they belong; but Loco did it hesitantly. This was a sign that it was rivalry week, and these two managers want to throw down.

3. The Real McCoy VS. Brax To Da Max
Two guys who lived together for 4 years duke it out on Sunday in this rivalry game. It is a rivalry that was born through many weekend sporting events like flag football, basketball, and ultimate Frisbee. These two have constantly been trying to prove their dominance over the other, specifically McCoy yelling at Brax. Each matchup was close and competitive and that's what's expected to happen this weekend as well. While Brax's record may not look good, he has the toughest schedule in the league, and continues to put up points each week. For McCoy, he is hoping to have his players play the same way they did a week ago, which might be more difficult do to harder matchups. Either way you slice it, its going to be a tough game. The winner will have bragging rights.

4. ShowMeYourTDs VS. Beaus N Hoes
Like the previous discussed matchup, these two managers have shared the same roof. This rivalry was spawned during countless match ups between the Steelers and Patriots over the years. Both managers have always been confident about their favorite team and both guys are now confident about their fantasy teams. TD's is looking strong and hopes his team stays hot, while Beaus is trying to get things going after a (1-4) start. For more info on this rivalry check out TD's team page.

5. Weeden and Weep VS. La Flama Blanca
Two guys with a history clash. The biggest incident between these two managers happened at a Pirates VS. Braves baseball game a couple years back. Sitting only 7 rows behind home plate, Blanca caught a foul ball. It was incredible, a purely magical feat. But, not to be out done, Weeden wanted a ball as well. A chance came late in the game when a foul ball was hit directly to Weeden. He stretched his arm and reached for the ball but it skidded off of his hand and into the seats behind him. It was a destructive blow to his confidence. Ever since then Weeden has had an inferiority complex when thinking of Blanca. The match up on the field will be close, but each team needs to step up in order to start winning more games.
