1. Imposing Monstrosity (5-1) vs The Real McCoy (5-1)
Stros won last week with an explosion out of Henry and a poor performance from their opponent TPD. They received 0 points from their TE and 1 point for Rodgers, but it did not matter. They are now pretty much tied with McCoy for easiest schedule in the league, as teams are only averaging 113 points a game against each of them. McCoy once again had an opponent fail to score 120 against them, which has happened 5 out 6 games this year. The highest point total against them is 122. They won last week by a single point (120-119), but have shown signs of life, scoring more points over the last few weeks. McCoy is now 5th in points scored while Stros is only 7th. The lineups are solid, though there is room to improve considering each team is in the bottom half of the league in ppg for the season. It has been a blessed year for both of them, but something has to give in this match-up.
2. The Perpetual Dynasty (2-4) vs Unstopa-Bo (4-2)
TPD is having their worst year of fantasy football ever. Currently sitting with the 2nd fewest points in the league, times are dire. The team is simply not getting it done, and many of their high profile trades have not worked out in their favor. Last week was a new low, scoring 73 points. These types of things were thought to not be possible for this franchise, but here we are. The lineup remains strong. If guys start playing to their potential, and McCaffrey gets healthy, this team will go on a run. But that is looking less likely with each passing week. This may be the best (2-4) team on paper ever, but that amounts to nothing.
UB is now 2nd in points scored and has won 3 in a row. Last week they won with only 112 points, but they had been putting up big numbers before that. Injuries, suspensions, and bye weeks may hurt them this week though. They are quietly right in the thick of things for the playoffs. Their bold draft selections may pay off after all.
3. Baker's Chubbin (3-3) vs El Pollo Loco (2-4)
Chubbin is some how (3-3). They won back to back games since trading away McCaffrey and last week was their best week of the season. They are competing for a playoff spot even if they lack star power. It is a bit of a mirage however, they are 3rd to last in points scored. It has been that type of year in the MFFL.
Loco did not get their classic rebound blow up last week. They have now scored under 120 in four out of their last five games. They are getting healthy however, and L. Bell could be a huge factor down the stretch. Don't sleep on this team. They, like TPD, have the ability to go on a huge run.
4. and 5.
Coop and The Morgans are big favorites in their respective match-ups. TDs is 3rd in ppg, but is (1-5). Unbelievable. They now have yet another injury to deal with in their starting lineup. LFB has lost 5 in a row.
