Match-Up Build-Up Week 13

1. The Coop's Return (6-6) vs The Glorious Morgans (7-5)
Coop's difficult late season schedule is getting the best of them. They have lost three straight games and have fallen to third in the East division standings. However, their path to the playoffs is clear. Win the next two games and they are in. They have the best eastern division record which gives them an advantage. The lineup just simply isn't getting it done, and Russell Wilson's early season MVP form looks to be faded as the Seahawks incorporate a run heavy approach. Icing on the cake is losing Fuller due to PED suspension. This team has everything right in front of them, but they need to change their fortune quickly.

The Morgan's enter week 13 with the best record in the East. They are in poll position to get to the playoffs. They have been unpredictable as of late but largely continue to play well. The loss of Brees has torpedoed Kamara's potential, which is a major concern down the stretch. A win this week doesn't guarantee them a playoff spot, but it would make it that much more obtainable.

This game is massive. The playoff race is the closest it has ever been, with 7 teams in play to make the playoffs entering week 13, and this game is the biggest of them all. Do not miss a single second of it.

2. Unstopa-Bo (8-4) vs Baker's Chubbin (7-5)
UB won last week but continue to benefit from an easy schedule. They have won 5 out of 7, but are only averaging 108 ppg during that stretch. It is a good team but one that lacks true firepower. Their record makes them a favorite to make the playoffs, but it is impossible to tell what they will do if they get there. This game is a must win for them.

Baker is having their best season in years, and they continue to stack wins. They have three straight wins and have scored over 140 in back to back games. Once again, the source of this team's success was the trading away of McCaffrey. We'll see how long they can keep this up, the squad leaves much to be desired if Lockett and Boyd continue to fall off the pace they set earlier this year.

This, like the other match-up discussed, is a pseudo playoff eliminator. Especially here because neither of these teams are likely to win the West, though still technically possible. Huge week of football.

TPD is now the league's top point scorer, though they only reside in 6th place. They are averaging an absurd 153 ppg over their last four and have proven to be the best team in the league currently. Still, their playoff hopes are behind the eight ball. They have to win out and hope the Morgan's lose a game. What a shame. They have the 2nd hardest schedule in the league, and teams are averaging 144 ppg against them in their last three. Crazy bad luck for this dominant titan. As stated previously, the entire rest of the playoff contenders are making ritualistic animal sacrifices in order to prevent TPD from making the playoffs.

Stros and McCoy are tied for the best record in the league. Both have picked up their play as of late, and both are expected to make the playoffs. Crazy enough, neither has secured a spot, which has to be a troubling thought if their good fortune is to change. Teams are nipping at their heals and nothing is assured in 2020.
