Week 12 Match-Up Build-Up

1. The Coop's Return (6-5) vs The Real McCoy (7-3-1)

Coop is taking on water. They've lost two straight and are averaging 95 ppg over their last three contests. Making matters worse is their remaining schedule. They close out with McCoy, Morgans, TPD. They are still a good team, but lack fire power at the RB position, with Jones not living up to early season production. This has honestly been a problem for a while, they sit 8th in total points scored, even though they are ranked 1st in the East division. They have a chance to prove themselves over the last three weeks, but if trends continue it looks to be a difficult road.

McCoy tied last week but is still in a prime position to make the playoffs. Their RBs are getting healthy and as a team they have been playing as well as anyone lately. Murray is banged up, which could be a problem, and their WRs continue to produce at WR2 level production. But this team is deep and ready for a playoff run. They are one of the front runners to win it all this season. This is a bigger game for Coop, but McCoy would like to make things easy on themselves and secure a playoff spot sooner rather than later.

2. The Perpetual Dynasty (5-6) vs Imposing Monstrosity (8-2-1)

TPD won last week, scoring the most points in the league. They are averaging 145 ppg over their last five games, best int he league. Yet with all that said, they are only (5-6). Their playoff hopes are still alive, but they must keep winning. They have no room for error. Not having McCaffrey has hurt them for much of this season. This is the best team in the league right now, and has been for some time. No one wants to see them pull off a miracle and make the playoffs. Not having Herbert, Adams, Hill, McCaffrey, and Jacobs in the playoffs would be a real shame from an excitement and deserving stand point.

Stros bounced back last week but still only secured a tie. Not that it matters much, one more win and they officially seal a playoff spot, due to how the schedule shakes out for other teams. Their RBs really came to play last week, a welcomed and needed sight if their lofty hopes are to be achieved. They are hoping to catch TPD this week, considering TPD has difficult match-ups and still no CMC. Stros wants this win badly. Their worst fear is seeing TPD in a 1v4 playoff match-up. This game will be a blood bath come Sunday.

UB and The Morgans continue to be up and down. They are both favorites in must win rivalry games this week. Consistency will have to be found by each of them.
Baker is still in the playoff race, having won two straight. A win against LFB is an absolute necessity this week.
