Week 12 Match-Up Build-Up RIVALRY WEEK 2 Happy Thanksgiving!

GAME OF THE WEEK

The Real McCoy vs Tavon and Only
The top 2 teams in the rankings will play for keeps in rivalry week #2 of the historic MFFL. McCoy entered last week with doubts about the recent play of their roster. Those doubts were eradicated as they put on a show, scoring 174 points.  The win takes them into first place of the MFFL and perhaps a #1 seed for the playoffs. A new player takes the stage for McCoy every week and last week that player was Thomas Rawls. If Lynch is out for the season Rawls could become McCoy’s C.J. Anderson of last year.  All season this blog has  been saying not to doubt this team and preached just how good this team was. Pehaps now no one will question their strength, even their own manager.
Tavon secured the victory last week in ugly fashion. It was a massive win for the franchise as they try to seal their first playoff appearance ever. Their 5 game winning streak has been extremely impressive with many huge wins. This team turned a corner this season and is searching for more glory. Getting a win against the rival that has dominated them would be one of their favorite achievements of this season. Tavon lost by 5 the first time these two teams met in 2015.
Both roster’s are strong, as are each team’s chances of making the playoffs. This game is all about pride. Friends become foes for week 12, and there is no telling what could happen.

2. The Advantageous Morgans vs Imperium
The first time these two teams played it was a classic. Looking to build off of their first encounter success is Imperium. Even though Imperium lost their 5th game in a row last week their roster tied for the 2nd most points in the league. It was a devastating loss, but one that can still be redeemed. Imperium is hoping guys like Lacy and White can keep the momentum rolling as they look for any production out of their RB core. Imperium posted on their team slogan that they quit, but many managers around the league hope that is not the case for one of the league’s most passionate managers.
One of the most shocking upsets in MFFL history took place a week ago. The Morgans took down the vaunted Unstopa-bo squad, and thy did it while scoring only 85 points. It was a gift from above for this struggling team, as it saved their season while also putting other seasons in doubt. The Morgans have not scored over 110 points in over a month, but their win total puts them squarely in the hunt for the 2015 playoffs. The Morgans have to start getting better production in order to make that happen.
These two teams have struggled to score over the last month of the season, but a win here for either one of them might book their tickets to the playoffs when it is all said and done. The Morgans curently hold the last playoff spot, while Imperium sits as the first team out. Whoever wins will enter the finally two weeks of the season in the top 4 of the standings.

3. ShowMeYourTDs vs Unstopa-bo
TDs lost a heartbreaker to PD a week ago and now they are in serious doubt to make the playoffs(assuming there are no stat corrections). While the roster has taken shape with many contributing players at each position, they just cant get a consistent effort across the board each week. They will take the 2nd fewest points scored into their massive match-up with Unstopa-bo.
Bo took a face plant last week in front of the entire league. Many managers needed them to beat the Morgans in order to gain ground for the playoffs. Perhaps a revenge game against TDs will bring them back to life, but its fair to wonder if Bo’s best games are behind them. Their roster is still extremely talented and many believe they are the front runner to win it all.

4. Perpetual Dynasty vs El Pollo Loco
PD survived against TDs last week. They are averaging 151 ppg over the last 6 weeks. Their playoff chances are still slim. Loco lost last week and went all in on some big named free agents for week 12. This game looks very close on paper.

5. Whitner Wonderland vs La Flama Blanca

Whitner lost another star. Their devastation of injuries is one of the worst of all time. The fantasy Gods want LFB to make the playoffs. They have won 4 in a row even though they have only scored over 115 once in that span. They have scored under 115 points six times this year, most in the league. Their 174-156 win over PD still haunts PD. Now they get to face Whitner. If LFB starts to score more points, look out, they are perhaps a team of destiny.
