Match-Up Build-Up Week 9

1. The Glorious Morgans (4-4) vs Imposing Monstrosity (7-1)

The Morgans have lost three out of four and are struggling to score points after a hot start. Injuries to their RBs have taken a toll, and as Josh Allen slowed down so did the team as a whole. They need to get healthy and try to build momentum. They are still a front runner to compete in the East division, but it's hard to tell which team will show up, because their beginning success has faded so significantly. Was it a mirage or will they start playing better? We'll find out this week.

Stros has been pulling a McCoy all season. They cannot be touched. They won last week scoring 94 points. Teams are averaging 110 ppg against them, with the highest score against them this year being 128. The recent downturn in play by their RBs is some what troubling, as their WRs have struggled to put up big point totals all year. None of that may matter though. They have time to fix any holes in the roster. They may be one win away from realistically securing a playoff spot. Considering the talent of the franchise's manager, the team is likely to improve.

2. 3. 4. 5.

The rest of the match-ups are super close. Bullet points:

-Coop escaped with a win over TPD last week. They played well and have now won five of six games. They are the current front runner in the east division. What a special first season so far.

-TPD may get McCaffrey back this week. That is huge. They lost last week, but continue to be contenders considering the talent on the roster. They just can't catch a break this year.

-McCoy has lost two straight but continues to perform well. Getting Chubb and Carson back soon will be a big boost.

-TDs hot start in terms of scoring points has not continued. Injuries have sapped this team of their potential. Add the fact they have had horrible luck and a difficult schedule, they are now likely just trying to play spoiler.

-Loco won last week but only scored 106 points. They have scored under 120 in 6 of their 8 games this year. Even with the win, they are likely not feeling confident moving forward.

-Baker's bye weeks got the best of them last week. They are still competing though sitting at (4-4).

-LFB exploded last week but it may be too little too late.

-UB has quietly won four of five. They continue to be feast or famine.
