Match-Up Build-Up Week 6

1. Unstopa-Bo @ ShowMeYourTDs

Worst vs first is more than what it appears for Rivalry Week #1 of the 2016 MFFL Season. Unstopa-Bo has been unstoppable this season. They have 318 points in their last two games and have yet to score below 120, leading to an unbeaten record. This hot start seems like it was an inevitability as nobody is scoring against Unstopa-bo and they probably would be unbeaten even without their dominant scoring ways. Led by a trio of high scoring RBs, Unstopa-Bo takes no prisoners. They have left no doubt that they are the team to beat right now in the MFFL. They are the hunted. Next up to challenge Unstopa-Bo is their rival, currently residing in last place, TDs.

TDs finally got their first win of the season last week. It was long overdue and now they have a chance to jump right back into the thick of things with a win against their rival. TDs gets up for this game every year, and you can bet words will be shared around the office water cooler between these teams this week. I am being serious, they legitimately work at the same building on the same floor. TDs needs this win to continue their climb up the MFFL ladder.

How can a match-up between worst vs 1st be the main attraction? Simple...both teams score points and Unstopa-Bo called out TDs this off-season, stating they were going to tie the all time record between these two teams. It is all systems go for both as bye weeks and injuries are not a problem for either team. They set the stage for Rivalry Week #1 in what is guaranteed to be a great game. Any Questions...

2. El Pollo Loco @ The Perpetual Dynasty

Two teams trying to get to .500 will put it all on the line in rivalry week. Loco achieved the biggest blow-out of last week in what was a must win for the franchise. They have won 2 of 3 and are hoping their roster continues to take shape. Cooper left no doubt last week for why Loco acquired him and with the potential return of Bryant to their starting lineup the future is looking brighter for this franchise. They blow teams out when they don't need to and they struggle when teams have poor weeks against them. Its a frustrating circumstance, but one they will try to debunk again TPD in week 6.

TPD obtained a massive victory last week after losing their 3 previous contests. Their roster finally came to play and TPD made the right gameday managing decisions to come away with a close victory. Last week TPD flew off the handle and went on a trading and free agent bonanza, but it paid off as the additions of Rivers and Marshall were the key to their victory. Rivalry Week presents another opportunity to try for a victory in the ever competitive MFFL that loves scoring points again TPD.

The future is uncertain, but it at least looks brighter for both of these teams following last week. Each team needs a win against their rival in week 6. Don't miss out.

3. La Flama Blanca @ Pryor to the Snap

This is one of the closest rivalries the MFFL has to offer. Flama came to play in last week's top match-up, but it was not enough to achieve victory. They have alternated each week between having a good game and a bad game. It seems to be the nature of their roster as they have many good players, but lack the go to star. Gurley was suppose to be that player but so far he has disappointed. Still, nothing will change for this franchise, they will be fighting in the East all year with a good team.

Pryor has fallen on hard times. After a hot start they have now lost 3 straight and are struggling to score points. Teams have destroyed Pryor in recent weeks, averaging 155 ppg against them over their last 3 games. Injuries have killed this team so far this year, but if they can hold steady until some guys get healthy they might recapture their early season form.

4. The Real McCoy @ Tavon and Only

This rivalry soared to new heights entering this season after Tavon beat McCoy in the 2015 playoffs. McCoy is looking for revenge and they have to be feeling good with how their team is performing. The wait for LeVeon was well worth it. Even with Bo's hot start McCoy is one of the teams to beat so far in 2016, they are one of the hunted.

Tavon had a horrible week 5 but they have to move past it quickly in order to prepare for their rival. They have been hindered early on by the slow starts from Lamar and Brandin, two players they expected more from. An explosion from those two could be coming though, and Tavon hopes it will be this week.

The match-ups favor McCoy in this one. Tavon will have to step up as the clear underdog.

5. The North Remembers @ Advantageous Morgans

TNR played well last week but they came away with a close loss. Brady and Gronk were as advertised and their attention now turns to a game in which they must win. Charles comes back after a bye and their lineup might finally be at their full potential.

The Morgans simply have not scored so far this season, but a match-up against their rival could spark a flame for their roster. They are fortunate to have a win and a tie this season, and a win here would keep them alive in a parody rich MFFL.
