1. Unstopa-Bo @ The Perpetual Dynasty
The two highest scoring teams in the league do battle in Week 7's top match-up, and history is on the line. Unstopa-bo is (6-0) and one win away from tying the best record to start a season. Their amazing start is due in large part to their ability to consistently score points, but they have also benefited from having the league's easiest schedule. They won last week while scoring the 3rd fewest points of the week. This week they must replace two of the most dependable players in fantasy due to bye, but J, Graham and T. West are more than capable of filling the void. All told, UB is off to an incredible start and conceivably only a few wins away from sealing a spot in the 2016 playoffs. What more needs to be said, but UB's roster will be challenged in the weeks to come and it begins in week 7.
TPD scored 201 points a week ago, the 2nd highest point total ever. It was an unbelievable performance and one that left many managers shaking their heads in disbelief. The amazing victory will be remembered, but TPD must move on quickly because the challenge this week is potent. They started slow for a 5th year in a row, but they are hoping their team has turned a corner like so many TPD teams of old at this stage of the year. A win here would further support that notion and help TPD continue their climb up the East division ladder.
It is crazy to think UB would come into a match-up like this as the underdog, but based on their bye weeks and TPD's recent success many would define them as such. This is a clash of Titans and one of the most influential week 7 games of all time based on what is at stake. At stake for UB is a chance at history, while for TPD there is an opportunity to erase the themes of last year and remind teams what this franchise is capable of doing during each MFFL season. Take notice of this mega match-up, there are few of its kind historically.
2. The North Remembers @ Pryor to the Snap
Two teams fighting for West Division hierarchy will hit the field on Sunday in the #2 match-up of the week. TNR has alternated wins and losses this season. It is in stark contrast to how their schedule typical looks, with many winning and losing streaks riddled through out. It is probably a welcomed change for the franchise, though they would not doubt like to string a few wins together in the upcoming weeks. They have started scoring more points and their roster is back to full strength. The goals remain high for this franchise.
Pryor has lost 4 straight after starting (2-0). Their roster has been hit by some injuries and this week they will be without C. Newton due to bye. The unpredictable play of J. Jones week to week has been a huge hindrance in their ability to rely on their stars. They come into week 7 in dire need of a win.
TNR looks to have the edge on paper but expect a close game regardless. This is a huge game for both teams and the West Division.
3. The Real McCoy @ El Pollo Loco
McCoy acquired their 2nd lost of the season in a game in which they wanted to exact revenge over the Tavon franchise. They will have another opportunity late in the year. Their roster was seemingly due to regress after 3 big performances in a row, in which many of their players were consistently scoring touchdowns. Their team remains strong and not much will change entering week 7. One of the best teams in the league will look to bounce back against a squad they have had great success against in the past.
Loco was out matched last week against a team that scored over 200 points. While the loss hurts, they know West division victories are the key to getting them out of their early season hole. They have an opportunity against McCoy this week to grab a divisional win. Their roster simply needs to get healthy. Don't be surprised when this team starts winning games late in the season, like they do almost every year, but this week is key in keeping their goals intact for the 2016 season.
It is a bigger game for Loco than it is for McCoy, but both managers are eager to leave last week's losses behind them.
4. ShowMeYourTDs @ La Flama Blanca
TDs lost last week to bring their record to (1-5). Its been a tough start to the season for TDs. They have played great in 3 of their games while struggled to score 100 in their other 3. It will be difficult to come back from such a bad start but TDs may have the roster to do it. They have to be more consistent if they want to rally and gets wins down the stretch.
LFB won last week, but it was largely due to the poor performance of their opponent. Only one team has scored more than 112 points against LFB this year, leading to the league's 2nd easiest schedule, but LFB can strike at any moment. Their roster may not have star power but they do have explosion ability. They are thrilled to be sitting atop the East Division. They need this win come Sunday, as their roster has slowed a bit after a hot start.
5. Tavon and Only @ Advantageous Morgans
Tavon has been completely unpredictable this season, scoring huge points some weeks while also having some of the worst scoring outputs. Which team will show up on Sunday?
The Morgans may be due for an explosion at some point, they have scored under 100 points four of six games this year, while never scoring more than 112.
