1. Perpetual Dynasty (11-3) VS 4. Advantageous Morgans (7-6-1)
Two of the best teams all year will throw down in the first round of the playoffs. The Morgans are Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde. They stumbled out of the gates starting (0-2). They then won 6 out of 8 games largely because of some beneficial trades. Now they crawl into the playoffs with only 1 win in their last 4 tries. However, that one victory came last week when they scored the most points in the league. It is the perfect time to gain some momentum. They will have to continue that momentum if they want to play for a championship. Standing in their way is Perpetual Dynasty. PD has won eight straight games. They scored the most points in regular season league history. They swept their division. Their 11-3 record is the same record they achieved last year. Few forget what happened in the playoffs last year. PD had not scored below 143 points in three straight games before the first round. Then disaster struck, they scored 106 points in a losing effort to The Real McCoy. The loss crippled PD emotionally. They now have a chance at redemption. Is history doomed to repeat?
2. La Flama Blanca (8-6) VS 3. Weeden and Weep (8-6)
A rivalry rematch from a week ago is just the sort of playoff match-up managers yearn for. W&W went from last place to the playoffs in one season. Their remarkable turn around was unexpected, unexplained, and unforgettable. They may have used all of their energy just to reach this point. Adrian Peterson is doubtful, Tom Brady is without Gronk, and Josh Gordon can not be expected to maintain this insane pace. We will see how much W&W has left in the tank. La Flama is getting healthier. His team reminds many managers of The Real McCoy from a season ago. La Flama got his chance to compete in the playoffs, now he has an opportunity to accomplish much more. What he is probably most thankful for in this holiday season is the fact that he gets to play W&W in the first round rather than PD or the Morgans. However, Weeden plays the role of underdog quite well. La Flama will not take him or Josh Gordon lightly.

Week 14 Match-up Build-up (RIVALRY WEEK)
GAME OF THE WEEK
Advantageous Morgans (6-6-1) VS The Reckoning (7-6)
Two historic rivals will fight for their playoff lives. It is hard to believe that Reckoning has a better record than the Morgans. The Morgans have been a top team all season. These unexpected circumstances are due in large part because of the Morgans (0-2-1) record in their last three games. The Morgans have the toughest schedule in the league this season, making their overall record slightly skewed. Make no mistake, the Morgans have just as good a shot as anyone to win a championship. Unfortunately for the Morgans they are not in control of their own destiny. A win is necessary to keep their playoffs hopes alive, but it will no assure them a spot all together. They will need help along the way. If the Morgans somehow make the playoffs, then look out. They know how to win games in December. Reckoning has alternated between wins and losses since week 6. Every time they gain momentum it somehow gets taken away from them. However, the good news for Reckoning is that their momentum from last week was created by new additions. If Reckoning's late season trades can continue their momentum, they could lead Reckoning to a championship. When Reckoning wins, they blow teams away. When they lose, they lose big. This is a rivalry though, so the trends can be thrown out the window. Expect a close battle. This game will be decided on Monday Night, as both managers have star players featured on Monday Night Football.
2. Weeden and Weep (7-6) VS La Flama Blanca (8-5)
Two surprise teams lay it on the line in rivalry week. Weeden currently leads the West Division. They have the most "outs" so to speak, of any West Division Team, in terms of making the playoffs. They are on fire, scoring over 160 in two straight weeks. Josh Gordon is carrying them. Even with two straight weeks of 160 football, Weeden still has the second fewest points in the league. The biggest questions are: is Weeden a team of destiny; will their miracle stretch run come to an end? La Flama has survived a string of injuries. Imagine what their team would look like with Rodgers, Cobb, and Thomas. Their (8-5) record is second best in the league. Remarkably, a loss to Weeden means their playoff hopes remain in doubt. La Flama will try to avoid that scenario by winning come Sunday. This is one of the many match-ups this week dictating playoff aspirations. Do not miss this mega match-up.

Loco will try to win a birth in the playoffs by beating the team that has already clinched the top seed. Loco's hopes rest on their favorable match-ups this week. They have kept their playoff hopes alive by winning two straight games. A win means they're in, a loss means they're out. It is as simple as that. PD has already grabbed hold of the number 1 seed for the MFFL playoffs. They have won seven straight games, 1 win shy from tying their eight game winning streak from last season. Many teams consider PD the team to beat for the playoffs but PD would remind others that in three straight weeks a team has out scored them. The fact is that on any given week anything team can beat another. It is no different for this week. Expect a slug fest.
4. ShowMeYourTDs (5-8) VS IHateStevanRidley (5-8)
Consolation chances on the line. These two have been talking smack all week in preparation for their blood bath. No one wants to stay home for Christmas in fantasy football. That is what is at stake here.
